Respond, Rebuild, Rebound: Communities in a COVID Era

Bernice Butler is the Deputy Director of Network Learning and Collaboration with the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. In this role, she develops and implements cross-sector learning labs and state network convenings to share best practices on expanding economic opportunity, reducing inequities, and fighting poverty across the State Priorities Partnership and compiles data that demonstrates the Partnership’s collective impact with the philanthropic community.

Earlier in her career, Bernice held positions as a White House Strong Cities, Strong Communities Fellow, and a Partnerships Manager at the Institute for Educational Leadership. Bernice holds a B.A. in Psychology from Georgia State University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Georgia. Bernice was a 2017 New Leaders Council (NLC) DC Fellow, 2019-2020 NLC DC Alumni Chair, and currently serves as Co-Director for NLC DC.
